The descender is designed for controlled descent on a single rope with stop and locking when the lever is released. It is used on ropes with diameters from 9 to 12mm.
The device can be easily installed on the rope without removing it from the safety harness. Descent speed is controlled by tensioning the rope's free end. Rope ascent is possible without changing the device's position when using a foot loop and ascender, or a clamp and pulley block installed above the descender.
The descender is equipped with a rubber handle. The cheeks, roller, and cam are made of high-strength aluminum alloy.
