The Grach descender/backup device is designed for performing various rope access and rescue operations using rope access techniques. It allows the operator to perform descent and positioning of personnel and loads on the rope. The device is compatible with static ropes with a diameter from 10up to 11mm.


The Rook was developed based on recommendations and taking into account the suggestions of a large number of professionals engaged in rope access and rescue work, which is why it possesses a number of advantages such as:
